The menu is minimal, and there are occasional missteps, particularly with overcooked fries, although it's still decent on the whole. Thankfully, the staff is still excellent. An absolutely fantastic restaurant that is well worth a visit!

The service deserves special praise – warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt looked after.

The food was simply outstanding! The olive oil is so incredibly delicious that you could almost drink it on its own. 😄 Both the fish and the meat dishes are highly recommended, with wonderful flavours and excellent quality.

If Kastro Cretan Cuisine is still a hidden gem, it certainly deserves to be discovered. Fantastic food, authentic Cretan flavours and service that really makes the experience special.

We had a lovely evening to end our Crete holiday, and particularly enjoyed the sourdough bread with olive oil, the salad is amazing, very well cooked octopus and tge sheep milk cinnamon ice cream is an absolute delight. Thank you!!

The place is noticably oriented towards tourists (not in a negative way at all). We were pleasently welcomed by two younger men which served well and really kind. The place itself was charming, clean and family friendly. Talked to them for a longer period of time and they helped us out with tipps for our stay. We had the Orzo and the Moussaka and both tasted really good.

I can also recommend taking the bread with tzatziki as starters!
