We visited Kastro again after a few years and it is still a great place. I really have to highlight the extremely friendly service this time around. We asked about fresh fish in advance, and Andreas managed to get a beautiful Lithrini directly from a local fisherman for us. It was served whole, perfectly grilled, and tasted incredibly fresh with just some lemon, sea salt, and olive oil. The courtyard atmosphere is just as lovely and relaxing as we remembered. We were pleasantly surprised. 😍 The waiter was friendly and the service was unobtrusive. The food was incredibly delicious. Five years ago, we had wild goat (which is what made this place so memorable) and were completely satisfied. Today, we had veal steak and lamb ribs, a Greek salad, and orange pie for dessert.
